Position Overview

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will operate in a safe, fast-paced, and fluid environment. You will lead and develop your team by combining strong people management skills with effective use of technology. You will oversee warehouse employees, ensure compliance with all company policies, and support inventory, damage control, and recycling processes. This role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to manage people and data effectively to drive performance.

1st Shift - 6am to 4:30pm , Monday to Thursday

• Supervise and ensure safe daily operations in one or more warehouse Areas of Responsibility (AOR): Shipping, Receiving, Support Team, OS&D, Recycling, Safety, Sanitation, etc.
• Manage and provide direction for 23+ warehouse associates, maintaining workflow, accountability, and alignment with shift objectives.
• Oversee salvage and damage processes, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, support cycle count activities, and lead investigations to resolve discrepancies.
• Drive team performance to meet established KPIs: Safety, Retention, Productivity, Budget, Shrink, and Quality.
• Leverage Excel, Google Sheets, and internal systems to track performance, analyze trends, and manage reporting.
• Apply Microsoft Office and Google platforms (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive) for productivity tracking, performance dashboards, and communication.
• Identify performance trends and provide actionable insights to the Shift Manager and Operations leadership.
• Conduct routine operational, quality, and safety audits, ensuring timely follow-ups and promoting team accountability.
• Support FSA readiness efforts and compliance initiatives; experience with recycling protocols is a strong plus.

• Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge :
• Special Skills : People management, dependable, and deadline oriented.
• Physical abilities: : Safely and efficiently move merchandise weighing up to 60lbs., stand/walk for up to 10-12 hrs.

Years Of Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with supervisory or team lead experience.
• Proven ability to manage and coach a team of 20+ associates in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have SQF Certification or experience in sanitation and food safety
• Strong background in inventory control, damage/salvage management, and warehouse systems.
