About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Account Management to lead and support our largest commercial partners. In this key leadership role, you will report directly to the VP of Accounts and manage a team of 3-4 Account Managers, who will be responsible for engaging with enterprise-level clients using our content studio and syndication products. Your main goal will be to develop and implement strategic plans that strengthen relationships with our Fortune 500 partners and expand our book of business with existing accounts.
As part of the revenue team, you'll also play a key role in helping to drive the adoption of better systems, tools, and playbooks that will support our growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of digital marketing, extensive experience in strategic B2B account management, and a collaborative spirit that enables success across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with the needs of enterprise brands, driving renewals and growth opportunities.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, gaining deep insights into their goals, needs, and challenges.
Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our partners.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Newsroom, and Operations teams to successfully coordinate and execute partner campaigns.
Maintain excellent service standards and ensure quick resolution of any customer concerns or issues.
Gather and analyze data to identify trends, improve retention, and foster growth.

Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Partner Management, Customer Success, or Account Management; with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in high-growth startups, adtech, or other tech-enabled companies.
Deep understanding of digital marketing, PR, content, SEO, and/or earned media strategies.
Proven track record of growing enterprise accounts through renewals and expansion.
Strong skills in managing account relationships, navigating retention issues, and identifying potential challenges.
Experience leading and developing a team of Account Managers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets for a book of business.
Highly organized with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong executive presence and the ability to build relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in dynamic, undefined environments.
