Currently we are hiring a Quality Manager to join us in Reno Nevada

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards (ISO, Uptime Institute, NFPA, IEEE, etc.).
• Oversee quality assurance for electrical systems (power distribution, UPS, switchgear, generators, grounding, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and data center operational standards.
• Lead audits, inspections, and testing of critical systems (electrical, cooling, fire protection, monitoring).
• Manage commissioning and validation processes for new data center infrastructure.
• Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Train and guide staff on quality procedures, documentation, and compliance practices.
• Review vendor and contractor work for adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and continuous improvement plans to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure reliable, high-availability performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality management within data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (HV/LV distribution, UPS, switchgear, generators, grounding).
• Familiarity with data center standards and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, Uptime Institute, TIA-942, NFPA, IEEE).
• Experience with commissioning, testing, and validation of critical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, CAPA).
• Strong understanding of regulatory and safety compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage audits, inspections, and contractor/vendor quality performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
