Job Title: Plumbing and Heating Technician
Are you an experienced Plumbing and Heating Technician specializing in boilers and hydronic systems? We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused tech to join our team. This role offers an exceptional compensation package designed to reward your productivity and efficiency.
As a Plumbing and Heating Technician, your primary focus will be on the expert troubleshooting and installation of residential boilers, as well as servicing hydronic systems and furnaces. You will be instrumental in providing excellent customer service, maintaining quality documentation, and presenting necessary repair/upgrade options to clients.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Expertly troubleshoot, diagnose, and install residential boilers and hydronic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair residential furnaces and heating systems.
Use exceptional customer service skills to handle service calls and stressful situations professionally.
Identify customer needs and offer sales recommendations (good/better/best options) for necessary items.
Maintain thorough and legible documentation on all work orders.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately one week per month).
Utilize or learn combustion analysis and testing equipment to ensure high-quality work.
Requirements:
3-4 years of proven experience in residential plumbing and heating
Primary service experience in boiler and hydronic systems troubleshooting and installation is essential.
Must be able to troubleshoot furnaces and install boilers.
Familiarity with combustion analysis and testing equipment is a significant plus.
Exceptional customer service skills and sales ability.
Trade school attendance is a significant plus.
A Plumber's license (residential or journeyman) is a plus.
Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.

Competitive Compensation: Base wage of $25 - $45/hour, based on experience.
Potential to earn around $120,000 annually with bonuses.
Productivity and sales efficiency bonuses ($100 to potentially $5,000-$6,000 per month).

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $25.00 - $45.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
