Job Description

JCare is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to provide care to our residents in West Bloomfield, MI.
The Caregiver will assist residents with activities of daily living, help with laundry and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.
You must be able to work in West Bloomfield, Maple and Drake Roads. Currently we have second shift open, part time
Responsibilities
Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist residents with laundry, including bedding.
Reporting any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Must be 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Experience working with the elderly.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Every other weekend is required.
Reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
Schedule
These are part-time positions , with days and afternoon shifts available. Every other weekend is a requirement.
Pay
Hour starting pay is $16.00 per hour with room for growth.
