Accounting Specialist (Temporary)

Pay: $22–$25 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Job Type: Temporary | Full-Time

Overview:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist to support our team in a temporary role. This position focuses primarily on accounts payable, with additional duties in accounts receivable, reporting, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record forwarder billing and employee reimbursements
• Prepare related financial reports
• Record and apply customer payments (all trade customers)
• Follow up on customer receivables and maintain communication with clients
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting Manager
• Handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments
• Generate ad hoc reports as needed
• Serve as a power user for:
• Accounts Payable (Primary)
• Accounts Receivable (Secondary)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
